PC-Co-Catalyst A

Our co-catalyst A will be used by our customers for casting parts from 20 kg up to 1'000 kg. Through a chemical delay of the polymerization time (60 – 70 Min) the potlife will be ~10-15 min. That's why the bubbles smuggled in by pooring can go out of the melt and there is a guarantee of a homogenous and bubblefree final product. With this system some of our customers poor parts of several 100 kg final weight.
The co-catalyst A (activator) can be combined with most of the usual catalysts. On demand you can order a suitable catalyst from us.

PC-Co-Catalyst S

Through addition of co-catalyst S there will be a triple crosslink of the castnylon matrix. Therefore you will get an increased impact strength, dimensional stability and an increased crystallinity and because of this also higher pressure stability of the final product. The castnylon material polymerized with co-Catalyst S has not or only for a short time to be annealed.
The best temperature for the solubility of the co-catalyst S in caprolactam is between 135 und 138°C and after dissolving of the co-catalyst S temperature can be reduced down to 125°C.
The time of polymerization (depending on the concentration of the co-catalyst S) is between 20 and 30 minutes. This is very convenient for the annealing of the casting part.

PC-Co-Catalyst B

Our co-catalyst B is a liquid form of activator. This allows to use a one-pot pouring method that means that you don't need two vessels. This co-catalyst will be used for cast quantities between 1 and 10 kg.
This co-catalyst can be combined with all usual catalysts. You will need to anneal the final product during several hours.
